Gentlemen
Once again I am asking for your sage advice.I have in my hands a 1939 Mauser Banner in 7.65mm, a contract gun, about which I have three questions. The grips on this piece appear much darker on one side than the other,in fact the checkering appears a little different, both grips fit somewhat loosely. What does this do to the collector value? Am I correct in my understanding that 7.65mm 1939 Mausers are unusual? Finally, were these guns rust blued? Thanks for the help! |
