Mostly slick-backs, all but two are unit marked. Unit types are 10 cavalry, 5 machine gun, 5 infantry, 2 artillery, 1 medic, 1 pioneer, 1 telephone, 1 colonial, and 2 marked to individuals.

How are the individual pistols marked? Was there a regulation or was it up to the officer as his own purchase to place his name anywhere on the pistol?

David, ten have matchng mags; two of those, a 1908 and a 1910, have two matching mags. I actually have a 1915 now with two matching mags and a beautiful holster but it's not part of the collection and is for sale because it is not unit marked. I focus on unit marked P08's.

With LP08's I go first for full rigs and second for unit marks. Unit marked LP08's are much more difficult to find than P08's.

Wouaaaah Georges !!!!! very nice set

I see that Doughboys left " Mademoiselle's" tears behind and took main things back.....good blued prussian steel.....maybe somme VSOP bottles ( Volstead Act wasn't yet

approved by Senate ) ...

Our swiss Gran father's remained monthes on the Border but didn't have the same opportunities.....but took care of their 1906 DWM's....... what we now get instead of Imperials....
