Hey Guys,
I have a 1910 DWM luger that I am trying to fugure the value. It is all matching including 1 mag. It has another mag that I suspect matched the gun at one time but the end looks as if someone made a replacement for the lost numbered peice. The weapon is about 98% overall in finish with the staw color in the very good. It has ubit marking which read "13A2". The holster is unmarked with the loading tool and came with the gun. Two things bother me about this pistol. First, the bolt will not stay open when empty"magazine is still attached". I inspected the weapon to find no broken or worn peices and no fault in the mag. Second the take down lever and side plate are not marked. I compared it to a 1917 Artillery and G dated S42 and found that it has far less markings than the other pistols. I can see no evidence of touch up or reblueing. The Weimar stampings as well as serial numbers are crisp and the finish is consistant with the finish of the time with the exception of the excellent condition of the finish. I will try and take some good pics and post them. Can anyone give me an aproximate value of the gun. I may consider selling it. Andy |
