This Luger is not new to this Forum. I still have the mechanical problems.
I want to remove whatever the Russians put on this Luger. Some small parts will not be subjected to this procedure because they have a nice bright Peacock blue color. For this effort I have the following: A good electric stove top and a good electric oven, Pyrex dishes of various shapes, depths, and sizes, Appropriate gloves, I have ample Acetone and lacquer thinner. I have several other household items, but perhaps not the ones I need need for this work. My local stores are open 24/7 so I can get what I might need for this effort. Regards, Hoyt Weathers
