Firing Pin Numbering Question

The question recently came up about whether or not firing pins are numbered in post-1921 DWM commercial Lugers. A DWM u suffix commercial was reported with no serial number, and another u suffix gun was examined with a matching number and a Imperial c/Letter InspectorÃ¢??s stamp.

A while back I did a brief survey of postwar 5-digit commercials, which established among other things that firing pins of these guns are most likely to be found un-numbered. I would like to extend this knowledge to the DWM Alphabet Commercial production. If you can report the serial number characteristics of an Alphabet Commercial, particularly in the s, t, u suffix range, IÃ¢??d appreciate it if you would post the information.
