Default need advice first: 1917 Luger

Hi all,

New to the forum, and also to Lugers other than general knowledge. I just came into possession of a 1917 Luger. All the parts seem to be matching...either marked 53 or 3753. I did not take it fully apart as I don't know how, but I poked around a bit and it seems to be in decent condition with no rust and only a wee bit of pitting. I only started doing research last night so I'm not exactly down with terms...but I'm thinking it could stand to be "re-blued" or used as a regular shooter? Comes with the original clip, which is still fully loaded. Also came with a holster but its not like the black ones I've seen on the web...the holster is brown and is marked "Audley, Patented October 12, 1913).

I do need to sell it as the proceeds will go to myself and a second party...otherwise I would love to keep it til I'm old and in need of nursing home money, lol. I've never sold a gun before...or even had a gun in my possession for that matter, so not sure where to start.

Attaching some pics...any input or interest would be welcomed...

oh, the pics are clickable thumnails...so click on them to see the full size versions...
