When I got this 1900 AE it had been buffed lightly, hot blued, and some of the straw parts gold plated. I had the gold stripped off, the grips sent to Hugh, and the magazine sent to my new friend here in Phoenix, Gerry Tomeck.
I refinished the piece myself using the formula I put together (on a previous thread) and strawed the parts using the information I got from Howard Collins. While I admit to some experience with rust browning and finishing muzzle loading rifles, my efforts with a luger are in the beginning stages. I am very pleased with the results and thought I would share with the Forum Members.
