I like that one much better, nice strong Death's Head next to a worn 1917.

It's amazing how that much buffing really brings out the blueing and straw on a vintage gun!

I'm not seeing what makes it an Erfurt receiver, but then

It could have started life as a DWM Arty, and had its barrel changed. I have one like that.

I believe the point is, one can't say that it is Erfurt because of the cut; I thought maybe there
was some other clue.

If we could see the front of the trigger guard, we'd know for sure.
