I have a Mauser-Parabellum '06/73' "American Eagle" in 7.65 mm Parabellum with a 150 mm barrel. What I would like to do is switch out the 150 mm barrel with a 120 mm barrel like to one use on the Mauser-Parabellum '06/73' Bulgaria and Swiss Commemoratives. Now the easiest way to do this is to find a Mauser made spare barrel and do a remove and replace. Does anyone know if Mauser has spare parts for thier pistols? If I had the engineering drawing of the barrel I could fabricate one but I do not think Mauser would release that information to me.
One other thing, anyone know a Mauser Broomhandle expert. I have a Model 1930 Broomhandle that I can not rmove the magazine floor plate. No obivous damage but a real tight fit. Well, thank you for your time and effort. The Wizard |

On the Broomhandle floorplate, push down on the button with some non maring (sic) tool, and pull foreward on plate. Works for me.

If Lonnie's method doesn't work on your Broomhandle, you might try Kyrie Ellis or Tom Heller. Thier email addresses should be in the Profile Section! Good Luck!

Wizard, On your broom, you may have to use I stong pin punch at a 45 degree angle, hitting floor plate forward at the same time that it depresses release button. Since I purchased all of Interarms Mauser Parabellum parts and know that Mauser doesn't have any barrel left in Germany, your best bet would be to find a nice bore M1906 LONG FRAME 120mm barrel for this project. All of the long frame ones that I have left are M1900, so the extractor cut would also have to be modified. Tom h.

is not my cup of tea, although I do have acopy of all of the metric dimentions of the the 9X100mm military barrels as shown in the original 1913 Masstafeln zur PO8. I believe one of the members is offering the drawing of all PO8 parts from this book on CD at a reasonable price in the "links & resources" section. Tom h.
