Default British-proofed Colt 1913 Government Model

Here for your viewing pleasure is my Colt .45ACP Government Model pistol C 4958 which was 1 of 40 shipped to the London Armoury Company on September 3, 1913. It was probably one of the earliest shipped to England - if only this pistol could talk! I shot it a few times with 1942 .45 ACP and it performed flawlessly - not bad for a 100 yr old pistol! It's interesting to compare this pistol to the Model 1913 .455 Webley-Scott Navy automatic pistol.
