Help in Buying a Luger

I am interested in buying a Luger and the number of choices on both dealer sites and the auction sites is overwhelming. I could use some help if any one knows any good deals out there for my first Luger. I have not decided on a particular era to collect, just a military 9mm. I would like an all matching (except mag), lower collector grade where my investment would be safe and I would not be a tragedy to shoot occasionally. Please PM if you have any leads.
