Nice looking "G" date to bad about the mismatched parts. But looks like a great gun. The "G" dates getting harder to find.

Oh wait, I just looked it up. Would this be a year code for 1935?

There are 3 "letter" year dates, S date = Krieghoff, Mauser K date = 1934 and G dates = 1935
well worth the $800, I would have bought it in an instant.

It is a bummer the two parts are not the same. I find it odd that they both match though. Wonder how this happened....
