I put a down payment on a 1920 .30 commercial. The gun is immaculate--the finish is about 98% and the bore is just a hair short of perfect.
The problem is that the bottom half--frame, sideplate, takedown lever--all have a diffrent # than the top half--barrel, upper receiver (?), and toggle. The seller is asking $700. If I buy this gun, I would like to shoot it. I doubt there is much collector's value, but is $700 a fair deal on a 98% mismatched gun? BTW, it has one magazine (no serial#) and no holster. |
