While I didn't know if any of you gentlemen would be interested, I needed to blow my own horn a little on this one.
Last Saturday, I went to a gunshow in Mobile, Al. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but always notice if someone has Lugers, M-1 Garands, Winchester model 88's , and SAKO Finnwolf's. Well, I stumbled on to the only Finnwolf I've seen at a show anywhere in about 3 years. Asking price was $729, but after a little negotiating, I got it fot $675. The rifle is in 90%-92% condition. These rifles will usually bring anywhere from $1500-$2200. I was already happy with my find but when I got home, did a little cleaning and noticed- WOW! - it has serial # 44. This would make it an early 1962 production rifle. I don't think I've ever seen a production gun with this low of a #. Just goes to show there are a few good deals to be had at gunshows. Anyway, here's a few pics for you guys, hope you enjoy: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
