Default C96 Accessory

"I din't have any idea how to describe this. The stock is from the stock holster od a C96 came from a trench. The name written in German font is Paul TR 1917. On the end is an original ring from a C96. It could also be used as a club but in any event its use is from a C96"

Interesting piece.

I think it allows the shooter to clamp the stock between his arm and body whilst operating the gun.

And you can whack the enemy over the head with the gun/stock/club contraption when you run out of bullets

Hmmm, now would this be considered a "stock" under BATF regulations?

Looks perfect for shooting above a trench line whilst the shooter is BELOW same trench line. Interesting piece.

If it attaches, I would say yes.

Gee whiz!
Somebody should port this over to the 1896 Mauser Forum. I nominate Gerben as he is a charter member. Has Broomhandle seen this yet?
