Gun Collecting
You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had (by rough estimate) 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel. By Southern California standards someone owning 100,000 rounds would be called "mentally unstable." Just imagine if he lived elsewhere: In Arizona , he'd be called "an avid gun collector." In Arkansas , he'd be called "a novice gun collector." In Utah , he'd be called "moderately well prepared," but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.” In Kansas, he'd be "A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend." In Montana , he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy.” In Alabama , he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate." In Georgia , he'd be called "an eligible bachelor." In North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, and South Carolina he would be called "a deer hunting buddy." And in Texas he's just "Bubba, who's a little short on ammo... Sergio ![]()

Here in Illinois he would be called a potential terrorist with severe mental issues and an imminent threat to society in general. They would confiscate all his weapons and melt them down.

In Virginia we'd call it a good start at a collection.

I know this a serious forum, and we all love guns... but...
Top 10 reasons a gun is favored over a woman.... #10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22. # 9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road. # 8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times. # 7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup. # 6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo. # 5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space. # 4. Guns function normally every day of the month. # 3. A gun doesn't ask , 'Do these new grips make me look fat?' # 2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it. And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman.... # 1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN Sergio
