Default unknown pistol

can some one identify this gun for me. I found it last weekend in my garden.

This is a pot metal toy replica gun. The telltale casting seams on the front toggle, magazine release and on the extractor are a quick giveaway. The sear bar block is marked "Safe", which you would never see. Someone has attempted to add "authenticity" by adding matching numbers in various areas on the pistol.

If you look down the bore, (using all precautions), does it show a blockage in the barrel?

I suspect that it does.

It probably is an RMI, check to see if it says Japan on the right side of the toggle.

It actually had me going for a second, but the complete absence of rust was the initial giveaway. These replicas are made of a Zinc alloy and so do not occidate.

Unhappy Garden Luger.?

..I should be so lucky......all I find in my garden is poop from my oldest sons dog.......a Black Lab.............why cant I even find a repro Luger.?......sigh......

It is a reproduction of a Mauser... the upper receiver has the Mauser "bump"...
