unknown pistol
3 Attachment(s)
can some one identify this gun for me. I found it last weekend in my garden.
|
This is a pot metal toy replica gun. The telltale casting seams on the front toggle, magazine release and on the extractor are a quick giveaway. The sear bar block is marked "Safe", which you would never see. Someone has attempted to add "authenticity" by adding matching numbers in various areas on the pistol.
If you look down the bore, (using all precautions), does it show a blockage in the barrel? I suspect that it does. |
Good call Alan. I was getting ready to go check my garden...

thanks for the quick help
yes there ist a blockage |
It probably is an RMI, check to see if it says Japan on the right side of the toggle.

It actually had me going for a second, but the complete absence of rust was the initial giveaway. These replicas are made of a Zinc alloy and so do not occidate.
