Looks like a nice one. What are the markings on the right?
What is an S&S issue?

OGCA is Ohio Gun Collectors Association
Anybody who does not like the white printing is free to use the sandpaper- I don't mind. |

Ah, that's cool. A moderator usually will ask you to put your location in your profile, so that nearby members can offer any help you might need (or if you're buying/selling, facilitate transfers).
![]() I have no idea why you would see a need to mark your pics as being from a private collection...But sure, why not??? ![]() Your Luger looks good, although that fourth proof mark is somewhat unusual...Lightly struck, and uniformly shaped...I am the Devil's Advocate of the forum... ![]()

Thank you for your concern, but I am not worried about the fourth proof mark as long as there are two others on the lug.

I expect to see three acceptance and a final proof mark. Technically you have four but the small eagle is what? Since I think you know?

No solid proof, but I am sure it was probably a senior inspector, because you find it commonly, but not all the time, and they use the eagle RC for parts that did not pass first muster.
I will have to check on the marking.
