Most of us would recognize 1908 as a big year for the Luger.... pretty much standardized... especially major components... Of coures, 1914 saw some fairly substancial changes.. but to this point, I had thought that because of repair and replacement requirments, interchangability was a slam dunk so to speak... Well, not so fast! Yesterday, when playing with my stuff, I discovered in my little Lugers parts pile, a fairly decent frame... most likely Mauser, but I later tried DWM as well.... I hung a bunch of well fitting parts on it with the intention of making another never to be shot shooter!!!
