Here's a Luger variation that I have always thought a classic.
DWM, 1908 Commercial, serial 42274, B, U / B, U, G proofed, unmarked magazine.

I have only encountered the "Prv" marking on BUG proofed early '08 commercials never on the later Crown/N guns. A number of other collectors and I believe the marking indicates "Privat" or private (purchase) and was likely stamped on guns that were sold to officers through the army.
