Post LugerForum Patron...?

Some members are now showing up with the title of "LugerForum Patron" next to their name and member number...

What gives...?

How does one achieve "patron" status...other than being of hispanic heritage...?

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Hi Pete,

Sorry for the delayed reply - but I'm just back from a three day event and trying to catch up....

In short - what a "LugerForum Patron" is - is my way of saying "Thanks" to the handful of folks who who have taken a private moment to do something special in assisting with the cost and operation of this site. It may be a $20 bill stuck in an envelope, or an unexpected bottle of Reserve, or - even an offer made to assist on repairing someting or sending me something I need - without any expectations.

Those folks understand that I pay for this site and it's operation each month. In short - I dont charge "Membership fees" like NAPCA (but could), nor have "Sponsors" (and could), have site "pop-ups" (and could do that too), have "Banner Ads" (and do that, too), nor even benefit from the sale of LugerForum patches (I don't) - but these folks realize that this site and this resource is paid for out of my pocket, and in their own way, have assisted with it's financial operation.

So - it's my way of giving my sincerest and warmest "Thanks" to those folks.....

John D.!

Thanks for the update...

Our benefactor often stays so busy and frequently on the road that he has a problem keep up with his email and private messages... and keeping the rest of the admin staff (like me ) current on upgrades and changes...

but we love him just the same

Thanks...
