LugerForum Patron...?
Some members are now showing up with the title of "LugerForum Patron" next to their name and member number...
What gives...? :p How does one achieve "patron" status...other than being of hispanic heritage...? Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Hi Pete,
Sorry for the delayed reply - but I'm just back from a three day event and trying to catch up.... In short - what a "LugerForum Patron" is - is my way of saying "Thanks" to the handful of folks who who have taken a private moment to do something special in assisting with the cost and operation of this site. It may be a $20 bill stuck in an envelope, or an unexpected bottle of Reserve, or - even an offer made to assist on repairing someting or sending me something I need - without any expectations. Those folks understand that I pay for this site and it's operation each month. In short - I dont charge "Membership fees" like NAPCA (but could), nor have "Sponsors" (and could), have site "pop-ups" (and could do that too), have "Banner Ads" (and do that, too), nor even benefit from the sale of LugerForum patches (I don't) - but these folks realize that this site and this resource is paid for out of my pocket, and in their own way, have assisted with it's financial operation. So - it's my way of giving my sincerest and warmest "Thanks" to those folks..... |
John D.!
Thanks for the update... Our benefactor often stays so busy and frequently on the road that he has a problem keep up with his email and private messages... and keeping the rest of the admin staff (like me :D ) current on upgrades and changes... but we love him just the same :) Thanks... |
