Someone got taken ?
This finally sold on Gunbroker
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=30228975 The buyer looks to be new (no feedbacks). A nasty & expensive lesson when starting to collect. |

They may have been taken, but not horribly? If you say the whole setup is repro, the shooter arty is worth, what $1000 to $1200?
The rig is worth another $600 or more, individually sold on e-bay would bring more than that I think? If actually "restored", it is worth more to some folks, then just a shooter value? Ed

Well, I hope the buyer recognizes it for it's shooter value. I was put off by the crude renumbering of the four digit serial # on the frame, slide and stock - along with the description, it says it's something it obviously isn't. I've seen restorations and then I've seen restorations - this one looked, well... you judge for yourself.

no Bob, you are right about the non-collecting part of it!

Then again, if he could find a deal on a servicable drum magazine - think of the fun he could have at the range & not worry about destroying the value by breaking something.
