I'd say chrome and actually newer than older, unless they shined up the chrome!

Possibly, a little bit.

Wish I could see what the inscription is on the right side. Looks like part of it might be CCCP. Now if it just had crossed rifles, that would cinch it.

He had this gun for sale this summer on GB but was in poor orginal condition if I remember right.

So bright you would have to shoot it wearing a welders helmet. Good face/head protection if it blew up too.
