I have that same lighter blue under the safety of my AE. What caused that and is that an original nuance?

The area under the safety on the 1906 AE is lightly routed out following the basic outline of the safety lever and polished 'in the white'. It is supposed to let you know that you have the safety on even though the fact that the grip safety won't move is a pretty good indicator in itself. Does this one also have the 'LOADED' marked extractor? (Nice pistol and nice picture).
