Yes, sometimes AFTER you compress the spring, you might have to push left or right with a screw driver on the end of the spring guide depending on whether you want in to engage or disengage the arm that connects to the coupling link when you release the compressive force on the guide. ALSO, there was one error in the picture that occurs between step six and seven, the hook on the end of the spring guide is shown backwards or pointed in the wrong direction, the entire assembly should be rotated 180 degrees so the hook now faces the trigger guard instead of the rear grip strap.
