But I agree, and I have both a Colt Detective Special and a S&W Model 15, both w/2" bbls, for 'home defense'. Just not in my pocket.

I have seen S&W 2" bbl revolvers with 'shrouded' hammers, and would like to get one. I believe one of our members here (Ron or Jerry, I forget which) has an 'add-on' shroud on his revolver. That would be worth having.
