I actually got my number drill set out and gauged the hole last night. A 1.48mm bit slipped through and the next one wouldn't, so I figured that 1.5mm was the correct diameter. Seems like this was correct.

I made a new pin from a broken 1.5mm drill bit, the hole was a bit wallered out but it "felt right" as I tapped the pin through it. It should stay in place just fine, or as they say here in TN: "It ain't goin' nowhere".

And yes, those drawings are still on the wish list!
