My Model 1886 Winchester is one of the new Japanese creations, and it is really quite nicely made. Its fit and finish are first class.
The only problem I had with it was with the main spring. As is usual with Japanese springs, the metal was poor and the spring had already lost its "power" when I bought it new. A 75 cent change-out to an original Winchester spring solved the problem in a jiff. Accuracy with lead bullets is really fantastic! Typically, three touching at 100 yards!
The rice wagons are not all that bad, it you buy the right car in the first place. My 1985 300ZX Turbo is quite nice on an open road, and I still own it after 24 years!!
