It is what is called a model 1900, it has an ideal stock and grips and those are worth a grand or more by themselves.
Dwight collects info on early lugers, there is a huge database here on the forum; you can find it by looking in the archive area. He would like full serial number, any proof marks on it, caliber, etc.

Is the area under the safety blued or in the white?
No offense, but it might be a bit too nice looking for a gun that is 100 years old. Maybe some close ups of the top, right side, etc?
