I'm not sure about stabilizing. Prices for even the most modest matching gun have escalated so far out of my reach I'm considering trading my extremely modest collection and turning to an area of collecting where I can afford to buy a gun every now and then.
Supply and demand rules, and demand still seems to be outstrippng supply !
