Contacts in Switzerland
 

Does anyone have a contact in Switzerland that has or has access to or knows where to get a new barrel for a 7,65 mm Ordonnanpistole Modell 1906 W+F? Swityzerland being the country of origin for this pistol there must be some replacement barrels floating around that country!

Don't bet on it.

The parsimonious Swiss MOD surplused sold as much stuff as it could, as soon as it could, to keep the gnomes of Geneva happy...hense the sales of the model 06 and 06/29 pistols. As a kid in the 50's buying The Gun Report, I remember an ad that was always on the back cover from a guy in Switzerland selling board stocks, stock irons, skate keys and other goodies...I suspect that spare barrels have gone that way.
