Guns of WWII-History Channel

I just finished watching The Guns of WWII on The History Channel--it was about the weapons of Germany-- very interesting. I don't understand why they had to show a Luger with a pitted barrel and reciever tho, surely they could have found one in better condition to show close ups of!

Don't let it bring you down, Hugh. I posted a pic of the 1900 British with the light grips (you know da one)..look at it and it will wash the pitted Luger you just saw out of your mind..it is down in the earlier thread RE: Luger Grips..

Hugh,

I think that one was picked from that pile of de-milled beauties the other day. Send the thing to Ted to re-do!!!

I noticed the same thing :(

I told my bride that it was a shame they couldn't find a nicer Luger. In fact, I would have loaned them one of mine!!
