Way Off Topic - Sorry... BUT..
![]() If you are planning on watching the Rolex 24 hour race on Speedvision - please cheer on entry #14 (a Porsche RSR). You will see that it is the Autometrics Team Car Sponsored by Rennlist.com/Case-it/Suncoast.. Why is that important?
Well, it probably isn't to many of you - but, Rennlist.com is my website - the same one who provides the systems/services/Internet Connections that DOK uses and takes care of for us to provide this Forum... Hmmm - how about a LugerForum sponsored Porsche entry next year??? http://www.rennlist.com/daytona/day1a.jpg |
Sure John, right. Keep Dreaming

A number of you have asked the final results to this effort - so...
The Autometrics Motorsport and Rennlist.comcar finished 23rd overall out of 80 entries - 13th in the GT class out of 34+ GT entries that gridded.
In a car that was rated not competitive by challengers and on-lookers, the drivers and team dared to do what many could not imagine... While I definately need some sleep - below is a link if you'd like to see what the car looked like.. Enjoy... John D. Rennlist Website |
Since Lugers are classics...
.. how about vintage racing a 1974 Porsche 935? A good friend has one (BTW, it is one of the fourteen or so real 935's made that year, not a clone) with racing history too. He could be talked into letting it go cheap...
Best regards. Bob |
