Beautiful...!!!

Is that a .45 (THE #2!!?!?) Luger above it??

Re: Beautiful...!!!

It appears that is a .45 above the boxed Luger. We will have to find out. I have sent an email to Bob to see if he will share a little history about his Lugers.

Looks like one of the new .45 Lugers. I think the original that was in G&A had a chip in the grip under the safety lever.

Re: Beautiful...!!!

I am almost positive that it is not a *new* pistol. Take a look at the other items in this individual's collection. I honestly don't think he is into new things too much (maybe Porches or Ferraris).

.but then again..

..would someone who would lay that rare of a pistol on a picnic table go so far as to shoot it to see what it felt like? (Wouldn't shooting a .45 Luger be kind of a thrill?)

Re: .but then again..

looks like one of Mike krauses guns

Re: .but then again..

The pictures are a little on the fuzzy side, but that pistol appears to be unused at all, new blue, new straw, and new heat blue on the grip screws. I heard that Richard Ellis now owns the original pistol that was featured in G&A a few years back.

Re: .but then again..

It does appear to be unfired and very 'newish' looking. I emailed the owner and just maybe he will respond. I would like to get the story on the boxed Luger also. I will post his response, if he responds. Check out all the stuff he auctions on eBay (found on his website).

Never saw a NIB Luger before! GREAT!

Unbelieveably Nice!

BILL 03-09-2001 08:30 PM

The .45 Luger

The picture of the Luger on Hoganarms.com is a Mike Krause creation per the owner, Bob Hogan. Russ called this one. Anyone who has looked through Mr.Hogan's website will surely have to agree that he has some very fine and desirable collector items.

Buddy,

See the "Links & Resources" section of this Forum, and go to Heller Arms Ltd. Tom Heller is a super guy and a contributor to this Forum. he has many Luger parts (and other pistols also) and will probably be able to help you with your needs.
