Would the Navy collectors please enlighten me as to the

current market value for 1906 1st issue altered safety

models. All matching numbers except for mag and in about

85-90% condition. Thanks, SteveM

One pistol does not set the market, but I recently looked at an '06 1st issue altered in 93/95% with MM magazine. Asking price was $3600.

Hi Steve,


The gun you describe, in that condition, is going to command substantially less than a 95% gun for obvious reasons. Bob Simpson had a similar pistol a couple of months back advertised at $1295.

If I remember that pistol correctly there was no description as to finish, and was described as worn with some pitting. Nothing like seeing the pistol first hand.
