Holdopen installation tip
 

Holdopen springs can be damaged when the holdopen is reinserted. A tip that was shown to me involves the use of a business card. Place the edge of the card over the holdopen slot ahead of the pin. Slide the spring over the top of the card as the holdopen is being reinserted. This will prevent overstressing the spring.
