Observations on Interarms P.08's :|:

I was looking at two of my Interarms 6" P.08's the other day and noticed some differences between the two. If you look at the pics you can see that the MAUSER banners are different. One looks stamped (left) and the other etched. Secondly you will notice that the front sights are totally different. Finally you will notice that the barrel thikness is different. Anyone know why??

I have no idea why they are different.

But in my opinion both engravings are machined engraved in a pantagraph.

They do no look like the stampings and etchings that I have seen or done.

Doug, The barrels for the 7.65mm luger were not as thick as the 9mm and the 7.65 has the early M1900/06 under-cut front sight. The center toggle link marking changed over time. I'd have to do some research to tell you which is the earier type, but you should be able to tell your self from the serial numbers of your pistols. Tom

Tom, forgot to mention that they are both in 9mm. The one with the taller front sight base is a 1500 serial range and the shorter is in the 10000 range.
