Oil soaked mags

Can any one tell me how to get rid of oil in wood bottom mags that have been soaked in oil for years.
Thanks Alex.
PS does any body have Gerry Tomek E-mail address.

You might try an acetone wash. I have found acetone to be quite effective with oil-soaked grips. Sometimes it requires several applications. Just pour it on and scrub with a stiff brush.

I'd also try Murphey's oil Soap, works well on grips, so should work on mags?
