I noticed in those pictures that the safety lever is a darker, brighter blue than on the rest of the gun, it just don't look right to me.

Anyone else got an opinion?

I don't think those two parts would be correct, even though Death Heads are mis-matches!

Maybe I'm wrong though...?

This really was intresting to see you guys talking about the imperial luger era. I am a young collector that decided that I would like to be pecific in this era of lugers. I have 5-6 complete untampered with rigs. Only thing is that the 1918 is all mathcing but not a complet rig. Anyway, who are some of the best/ honest people out there to deal with or have nice matching imperial era lugers for sale. I am sure the guys that read this that are will not respond but i would like to hear from you possibly privatly you would.

That DH Luger has been up for auction a couple of times and has been discussed on the forum. It is a total mismatch/made up piece. The cannon is a WWI Erfurt (probably a real DH), and the frame is a WWII Mauser.
