Nice guns

Is that P38 an AC44 or a BYF44?
Can you post clear close ups of the serial number and the three stamps on right side of the slide?

PS> I edited my post above to correct & clarify dates. The later 1914 pistols made after 1929 had blued triggers (not fire blue).

it was too oiled up for the 3 stamps,
but ill try to get a better pic today..its what youd expect...2 eagles and a swastika eagle in the middle

im seeing sometimes the fire blue doesnt show because of the camera angles....its still not always there pre 29....1/2 of them on GB seem to have it..1/2 dont...thats my sample...i dont know the rest of the market...maybe those 1/2 are refinished or fireblue worn off...

what a mess of mauser 1914's they have on GB....all junk for $500-600 when only the nice ones for $400-450 sell....lots of dreamers with 1914's it appears...

i may sit back and wait until one shows up on gunboards for a reasonable price...or come back to GB in a month
