I've never seen that large a format ink stamping in a holster before.

Alanint does the stamp tell you anything? There is a smaller marking that is so faint it doesn't come through in photos well. I can make out 1915 and Berlin but the word above Berlin is very hard to see. Thanks for all the information everyone.

Can anyone help put a value on these for me?

OK, I'll take a whack at it.

The artillery is $1200 on a good day, if it shoots good - it's a heavily buffed and poorly refinished shooter. You might get a little more from someone who wants the strange nazi grip panels. The holster is worn and is missing parts - maybe $150-200? I don't know artillery holsters so I can't say if it is original or not, but the belt loop(s) look wrong to me.

The Erfurt is $1400-1600. It's original but has a lot of rust. The matching mag helps the value considerably, but overall it's barely collector quality. You will get the most from someone who wants an old "warhorse".

I would generally agree with these price estimates.

Note: The "belt loops" on the Artillery holster are correct, as Artillery holsters did not have belt loops, but shoulder strap loops on which they were hung for carry.

Thank you gentlemen, that gives me a good idea of value. I will let you know what they end up selling for.

Kai I will try to get them off.

I bought the pair from my co-worker as l am a C&R licensed collector and I always wanted a luger.
Took off the grips and found matching numbers . Replaced the safety lever pin on the artillery ( flopped around). Thinking about having it refinished, and leaving the Erfurt as is.

The holster stamp is " M.HERMANN NURNBERG 1917"
