Early military P08 pistols had no chamber date and no markings on the right side. So it is also possible that it is an early P08 frame. Does it have the stock lug attachment?

Since most other parts show signs of Erfurt markings, my money is still on an Erfurt frame/receiver with the markings removed by the renovation.

Also, does the barrel (bottom) have an Eagle/N marking on it?

There has been a new barrel placed so i can not get any info from that part.
But there is a small heraldic eagle with a 6 under it on the front side of the knee joint.
And can you explain wat a stock lug attachment is?

Arjan, The stock lug is a slightly curved slotted fixture found on the lower butt of the rear of the pistol..It is just behind the wooden pull when the magazine is in the pistol. The palm of your hand will rest on it when shooting. If this area is smooth without the slotted fixture..you have no stock lug.

An Eagle 6 is usually associated with Simson proofs.

As Gerben says above, early Military Lugers had no lug and many commercials didn't either. Just another piece of the puzzle...

So there is still no answer about the year of construction.
Last week i found that the wooden grips have a K stamped in it with a sun above it.
Maybe this helps a bit?

Arjan, Yes..Vlim is Gerben. Your pistol is from several other pistols put together so determining a date of manufacture is a moving target.

The stock lug tells us the pistol frame is likely to have been made after 1913. There were frames made with stock lugs before that such as commercials or Navies but there are no Naval or commercial markings on your frame..or even Military so it's a crapshoot guessing when it might have been manufactured.

The Erfurt parts...Likely wartime manufactured. say 1914-1918

The Police conversion..1918-1930 give or take.

Any or all of this is pretty much conjecture..The broadest range would run from say..1906 to 1933 or so. Just not enough clues IMO to nail it down real tight.

I will take it to a gun smith and after that i will use it on the course.
I think i will enjoy that very much.
And for now on the hunt fot the next P08.
