Ken,
Leo's Luger is a 1908 Commercial and was manufactured without a stock lug.

They use it as a screen in the crack pipe so they don't inhale the burning crack while smoking.

I should have invested in the company about 10 years ago

Leo, Ron's advise is sound. 0000 steet wool or a stainless steel brush will do a good job on rust blue, which your luger should have, but will scratch a hot dip finish. TH
