Hi Doc & Ed, I did notice with the 6" barrel at near full mass, it soaked up a considerable amount of recoil as well... I really don't think an 8" barrel in that configuration would work?... More worried about closing then malfunctions?....
 ... 6" smooth as glass... best to all, til....lat'r....GT......
