I would guess that the toggle is NOT marked with the same numbers of the last two of the serial number. There were no DWM 1939's, so even if the numbers match, it is not correct. The luger (notice the spelling, common mistake) was made by DWM up till about 1934 and then the tooling moved to Mauser and they made new lugers in 1935.
