It reminds me of the day our 1911A1 Colt arrived from "Ye Olde Hunter" back about 1960. While it carried British proofs, it was new-in-the-box, made in 1943. It's still in the family. They also offered Ithaca and R-R.... all new and all at $39.95 each! Now I wish we had bought several of each. Sigh.........
