Having purchased by mail (AND RETURNED)two such "Navy" Lugers, I can understand. Hope your friend can get his money back.

Were you able to record the serial number?

I wonder if it would be possible to start a database on this Forum of known fake Navy Lugers? Legal problems? If it is not a legal problem, such a list would be a great service to those who are less than expert on this subject.
