I sure am glad to hear eveybody getting the message that good mag and recoil springs help the functioning of a Luger pistol a lot. They are not the only cause of functioning problems but a very frequent cause. Just remember:

1. You need a strong spring for the action to work properly and close soundly.

2. You need a strong magspring to keep up with an action that can open and close in less than 1/30 of a second.
